Beverley Taylor Sorensen Arts Learning Program Dance Specialist, 2016 - 2019
The BTSALP program supports over 100 Utah elementary schools in providing an arts specialist. Parkview Elementary School in Salt Lake City offers dance to all students Kindergarten through 5th grade. Classes match the Utah State Standards for Dance K-5. Students learn about the basics of dance and the creative process then apply these concepts to their core curriculum in language arts, math, and science.
